Sherrie Beaver works as Manager, Social Impact at Expression Australia, where she is responsible for driving the organisation’s fundraising strategy including grant application and project governance. Being new to the fundraising sector she has relished the opportunity to view fundraising with fresh eyes which has allowed her to identify gaps in fundraising in terms of accessibility and inclusivity and as a result, she is working towards making fundraising accessible for deaf and hard of hearing people around Australia. In her spare time, Sherrie can be found with her head buried in a book and looking for a dog to adopt.
